This young business couple purchased a typical, early 1990’s two-story lake home in rural Indiana, which was already in desperate need of a facelift. The client’s requirements were to change the floor coverings, update the kitchen and guest bath to bring life into their otherwise ordinary interiors. The design team conceived a new interior design plan which included stripping the existing Victorian fireplace, installing simple and fresh countertops and flooring, specifing a gorgeous lighting package and a lovely autumnal color palette. A whole house custom A/V system was also developed. The Designers layered on top of these new backdrops custom window treatments, a high modern furniture and accessory package, juxtaposed with early 20th century, original vintage artwork to create a space that not only harmoniously flows, but speaks to the client’s lifestyle and design aesthetic.
