Looking to create a respite from her travels around the world as an International Healthcare Consultant and author, this effervescent and spirited client hired the design team to reinvent and unify her newly purchased downtown Indianapolis loft condominium. The Designers were initially ordered to organize and stylize her existing collections of artwork and accessories from years of global purchases. The design team was also asked to specify and procure new contemporary abstract original artwork for this voluminous loft space. Other interior design services included re-upholstery of her existing Thayer-Coggin sectional sofa in an all-natural Donghia textile, placing two 100% Laine virgin wool origami-inspired accent chairs by Ligne Roset, creating a unique installation of an antique Japanese silk kimono and obi, and designing award-winning custom lighting systems appropriate for highlighting the art collection. Custom window treatments including commercial solar shades and an esoteric one-of-a-kind sail shade were installed onto gigantic windows to alleviate heat/glare/UV and to provide privacy and aesthetics. Lastly, office furniture by Techline and a unique and cheerful custom storage closet built by California Closets was also created by Jeff Sheats Designs for her home office. The end result is an eclectic and upscale interior perfectly suited for this art lover’s current and future collections.
